I’m an amateur photographer based in the fens of rural Cambridgeshire with a passion for landscapes. An odd combination; no rolling hills, sweeping vistas or dramatic coastlines here; just acres of low-lying arable farmland.

Flat and bleak; two words synonymous with the fens, but scratch beneath the surface and you discover more than just timeless melancholy. There’s an intrinsic beauty, quiet and unassuming, waiting patiently to be discovered.

Through my work I aim to provide a cross section of some of the hidden depths of the fens, hinting at the variety that permeates this often neglected landscape.
